Abstract
The policy of providing free sanitary pads for girls in schools, along with the option of purchasing them using vouchers,
addresses a crucial aspect of gender equality, health, and education. This policy recognizes the importance of menstrual
hygiene management for young girls and aims to alleviate financial barriers that may hinder their access to sanitary
products. While such a policy is not yet widespread in the United States, it has gained momentum in discussions about ensuring equitable access to education and healthcare.
