Although the RMG sector of Bangladesh has vast popularity, it is increasingly being contested by other countries’ products, who are moving faster with their products to better respond to today’s time sensitive customers. This study attempts to investigate how woven garments of Bangladesh fall behind in the international business competition due to lack of lead time management. This research study has focused the key challenges of export competitiveness of the woven industry and puts forth some viable recommendations for improvements in the readymade garments (RMG) industry of Bangladesh to enhance market share internationally. In particular, this study highlights international business development in regard to framing and upgrading favorable business policies to ensure fast and hassle-free import of the raw materials needed for woven garments production. This study is qualitative in nature and employed content analysis to collect relevant data from various articles, books, reports, websites and social and online media. The study found that the competition of running against time has posed a significant challenge for the woven industries of Bangladesh and thus recommended the need for managing lead-time immediately. This article suggests that backward linkages may not be viable in the present scenario and thus we must focus on international business development to ensure uncomplicated import of the raw materials, obviate the policy related challenges and remove internal backwardness. This research study has important theoretical and practical importance for the industry owners, managers, associations, and has policy implications for the policy makers.

Ghanaians have identifiable symbols that are of great esteem and significance to them. The global world today is arguably threatening the survival of these symbols and the values they hold. Adinkra symbols are generally known in some circles of the Ghanaian society, however, a section of the population, thus the youth, seem unfamiliar with their knowledge and values. Symbols are representatives of objects, places, human beings, animals and events. These symbols are emblems that have been adopted in the past as tools for communication, information and education. Adinkra symbols are no exception in defining and identifying one’s background and cultural identity. The design of adinkrahene symbol for instance is embedded with philosophical underpinnings reflecting religion, socio-cultural and artistic domains, which demonstrate an understanding of its meaning, worth considering as themes. The religious, social, and artistic symbols communicate quite extensively, intrinsic and extrinsic elements of culture and traditional values This paper sought to identify and discuss Adinkra symbols, their meanings and significance and project their aesthetic and educational purposes as methods of observation, analysis, synthesis and interpretations as authentic sources for themes in teaching Drama in Education.

The success and success of a business cannot be determined by the size of the capital, but is also determined by other factors, namely the success of business actors in managing their human resources. The problem in this research is the unstable employee productivity caused by several factors. This research was conducted to examine the effect of empowerment, work environment and fatigue which partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the productivity of the moving pottery industry employee performance. Respondents in this study were employees of the pottery industry, totaling 40 respondents. By using multiple linear regression analysis technique, it was found that empowerment had no significant effect, while work environment and fatigue had a significant effect on productivity. Simultaneously empowerment, work environment and fatigue have a significant effect on productivity. This study has limitations, namely only examining the employees of the pottery industry in Lumajang Regency, so it is hoped that these limitations can be investigated in further research.

The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement is an organization that operates to achieve a variety of distinct objectives. Educating the public about the many ways wherein black people are oppressed in society, in addition to how laws, institutions, and policies perpetuate that oppression, is a primary objective of the activists who are affiliated with the BLMmovement. In addition, BLM campaigns have celebrated the accomplishments of African American writers, singers, and visual artists. The BLM movement has been criticized for being disruptive, as well as its rallies are frequently criticized for making people’s life more difficult; despite this, making people aware of the situation is precisely the primary objective of the demonstrations. They need to create a scene to get other people to listen to what they say and pay attention to what they are saying so that changes may be made. The BLM Movement does not in any way endorse the practice of colorblind racism, nor does it provide any support for it.

Previous research has already proven and defined the existence of Choice-Supportive Misremembering. In general, research in this field has found that after making a decision, participants will misremember attributes in a way that favors their chosen option. In this present study, we explore the relationship between stereotypes and post-choice misremembering occurring within the college application setting. Participants were administered two tests: one choice test for them to choose between two applicants, and one memory test where they attributed each item presented to them on the choice test to an applicant. Across the sample, participants were more likely to attribute stereotype-linked activities to the applicant belonging to the population targeted by these stereotypes. These results prove the impact stereotypes have on memory errors, and prompts us to be more wary of making quick decisions.

This study reviewed democracy and dictatorship in post - colonial Africa with a critique on prospects for good governance. Democracy strives when there is a competitive election and political parties freely sponsor candidates for election. This process appears to be in disarray in Africa. The study adopted secondary data and content analysis as methods of data collection and analysis and the Elites theory as the theoretical framework. The study observed that due to greed and inordinate ambition to sit-tight in office, some the post – colonial leaders involved in the liberation of their countries from independence jettison multi – party system in favour of a one party system or adopted militarilism as a fashion for the administration of their states. The study recommends amongst others that there should be institutional reforms that guarantee accountability and transparency in governance as a key antidote to good governance.

This study employs Mohammed Ben Abdallah’s play The Witch of Mopti,(1989) which espouses the insane majority, and the sane minority in the political dispensation of African states. The objective is to examine the interdisciplinary approach to psychological issues, especially, on mental health in Africa, focusing on the role of the playwright and his/ her drama. It also sets out to juxtapose the effect of characters considered the “Sane minority” and the “Insane majority” in the play to some social, religious, political and cultural occurrences in the development of African countries. How does the playwright’s drama (play production) contribute to the rehabilitation and development of people who are mentally confused between tradition and modernity? We employed Qualitative research method basing my findings on content analysis of the play, and purposive one on one interviews with some dramatists and political practitioners for the data collection. The paper, finally presents divergent views on the axiom “majority carries the vote.” The debate continues whether, in reality, the psychological position supporting this axiom has changed or not, especially, in the political dispensations of African democratic governance.

Ethnicity and religion have been two major causes of conflicts among various ethnic groups in Nigeria. Nigeria has suffered intense ethno-religious conflicts resulting in massive fatalities in Northern Nigeria. Many lives have been lost during the various aggressive and violent incidents in Northern Nigeria sparked by various ethno-religious conflicts.One central emotion contributing to ethno-religious conflicts is ‘anger’. Anger is the power mobilizing force, amongst other emotions, behind the ethno-religious conflicts in Nigeria. Thus, this paper attempts to reflect on the role of anger in ethno religious conflicts in Northern Nigeria.

Disclosure of nonfinancial information is a key element in corporate social responsibility. The new sustainability canons demonstrate its importance in business development. However, nonfinancial information must be verified by an independent expert. Any disclosed nonfinancial information must be reliable, which is why the existence of a verifier that accredits the synchrony between what is disclosed and the company’s reality is necessary. For this reason, the present paper addresses the verifier’s regulatory situation and future proposals to create a regulatory body that provides legal certainty.
